Tip from the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN):

Make it clear to the students what is expected of them, for the course in total and for each learning session. This is extra important in the current coronavirus situation.

Make an easily accessible overview for the students about the work expectations. What to do when, in which order, important dates and the like. Structure your content in Canvas modules in the order you want your students to work with it. This overview will be of most use on the front page of the course or at the top of your module structure. Use Get started, Expectations / working methods or similar as a title.
